- The week will begin on a dry note with clear to partly cloudy skies, as high pressure continues to remain overhead.
- The next chances for showers and thunderstorms across the entire region is forecast Wednesday into Wednesday night.
- Temperatures will continue to climb through the week eventually reaching the low 90s by this weekend as southerly winds return, along with increasing humidity levels beginning Wednesday.

The region continues to sit between the upper level ridge over the southwest CONUS and the trough over the NE CONUS with surface high pressure overhead. Recent model guidance has shifted the upper level ridge west, and as a result, shifted the shortwaves and small chance for showers expected today and Tuesday west of SEMO.
