A severe flood warning is in effect for the Guadalupe River near Spring Branch in Comal County from the evening of July 17 through early Saturday morning, July 18, with moderate flooding forecast. Homes in lowest-lying areas near Guadalupe River State Park and along the river's banks face water damage and potential mold growth as water extends over banks during the event.
