Severe flooding is forecast along the Vermilion River at Lafayette and the Calcasieu River near Glenmora and White Oak Park, with minor inundation of Beaver Park and Vermilionville expected as the river rises to 11.5 feet. Homes in the affected areas face water damage and mold risk from the flood event, which is expected to last from the afternoon of July 13 through the afternoon of July 14.
