    FLOOD — 2 WSW Pleasant Grove, CA

    *** 1 FATAL *** A 71 year old man drowned after his car was swept into a creek crossing a flooded bridge on Fifield Rd. in Pleasant Grove in Sutter County around 2:34 pm on 11/14/2025. The California Highway Patrol reported that there was 2-3 feet of water on the bridge that pushed the vehicle into the creek. They also reported that there were signs around the bridge in both directions warning of the danger of the flooded roadway. There was 1.37 inches of rain reported at Sacramento International Airport on 11/13/2025.

    FLOOD — 2 NNW Cal Expo, CA

    Sacramento Fire Department fire reported that a person was rescued on evening of November 14 after being stuck on an island at Arcade Creek in Sacramento as waters were rising. Two people and a dog were stuck on the island, but only one person wanted assistance from crews.
