- Heat impacts remain high to extreme across portions of the Nature Coast as feels like temperatures approach 110 degrees. A Heat Advisory remains in effect through this evening and another Heat Advisory has been issued for tomorrow. Continue to practice good heat safety if spending prolonged periods of time outdoors.
- Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue across much of the region, with the best window for storms at the coast during the early morning through early afternoon and inland in the afternoon and evening each day through the weekend. As rain becomes more widespread from Thursday through the weekend, the potential for localized flooding in mainly urban, low-lying, and poor drainage areas increases as well.
