    Butterfly Fire

The Butterfly Fire is a lightning caused fire located approximately 10 miles east of Hamilton, MT. The fire is burning along the St. Clair drainage and firefighters are working along the western flank to protect values at risk to the west and securely anchor the fire. Given dominant terrain and strong westerly winds fire behavior may increase to the east away from values at risk. Multiple air and ground resources are engaged.
