    Henry Fire

    The Henry Fire was reported on July 16th. The Henry is located 5 miles south of Post, OR. The Coyote Fire was reported on Friday, July 16th. The fire is located 5 miles south of Post, OR. Great Basin Complex Incident Management Team 5 assumed command of the Coyote and Henry Fires on August 2nd. The Coyote and Henry Fires remain confined to their current footprint and no growth is anticipated outside of the established fire perimeter. However, interior smoldering will persist as vegetation remains dry. Crews will focus on extinguishing these remaining heat sources and improving containment lines.
