    The Akawa Butte Fire was reported in WildCAD at 1:41 PM on Thursday, July 16. The Akawa Butte Fire is located 13 miles NE of Sisters, OR. The fire spans across Deschutes and Jefferson counties. Evacuation orders are in place. The fire is currently under Unified Command with Oregon Department of Forestry and Oregon State Fire Marshal Incident Management Teams.
